- New anti-lag functionality! This is on by default, but can be turned off in the system menu if issues arise.
= Balance Changes
- When several Fire-boosting effects such as Caustic Tar and Singed are active, only the strongest Fire boost takes effect.
- MP cost reduction effects now work on skills that cost another character's MP (i.e. Ariadne's MP cost reduction is applied for Searing Wind and Blazing Blade).
- Calysia's Purge Sorcery now has High priority.
- Calysia's Nightshroud now has Medium priority.
- Removed the +20% dmg taken/done from Somnus's Dreamwalk (it's still quite strong XD).
- Somnus's attacks now pierce most damage absorbs and many damage reduction (-x damage, rather than -x% damage) effects.
- Ligaea's Falconry skills can no longer crit to avoid them consuming Confidence.
- Increased the damage of Blazing Arrow.
- Ligaea now has a free version of Take Cover to cancel Cover.
= UI Improvements
- Clarified Full Moon/New Moon buffs in Calysia's passive effects.
- Added buff icon to the skill description to indicate which kind of Cover Whirlwind removes.
- Added a "Current Status" option to view current stat values in the proposal screen.
- Changed Ligaea's default combat expression (Mimo art only).
- Added a "Required" designation for proposals such as Grove Restoration to make clear that they must be done by a point in the story or they will be done automatically.
- Added a "Short Term" designation for certain proposals such as Arkos Underworld that are available for a short time.
- Added a new page to the Proposals menu allowing the current value of key factors to be checked.
= Bugfixes
- Theseus Loyalty Fix 2: Electric Boogaloo (now Tychus loyalty changes are no longer added twice).
- Fixed a bug causing the discounted price of Grove Defenders to be applied in the wrong circumstances. Affected saves will be corrected in the Temporal Rift.
- Improved the consistency of Elite Cover effects.
- Fixed an issue causing Salvation to grant more SP than intended.
- Various typo reports and fixes to old content (thanks to everyone who reported).
- Fixed a bug causing Instant Message settings to load Turn Window settings instead of instant message settings.
- Fixed a bug causing Lorena's Ice Barrier to prevent healing or be removed by healing.
- Fixed a bug causing Sindarion's Perfect Focus to trigger when an Absorb or Cover effect would have prevented damage.
Screenshots
Already binged the update in one go, enjoyed the update as always. Though, the balancing of the battles near the end felt pretty hard especially if you handicap yourself with a certain choice (took forever since I refused to use story mode).
ReplyDeleteIt seems like I might have had an easier go, if I had certain party members that I have to do without (Somnus and Lorena). I'd really hope that people who have neither get something to compensate, cause it sure feels like a few battles are much harder without either (especially a certain achievement at the end I won't spoil, which alludes me how to get it without one or both).
I know some people don't like having path exclusive companions, but as it stands having neither does sometimes feel like gimping yourself in some of the harder battles. Certainly makes me wish there was a companion that was offered for those who did not recruit the other two (understandably more work, but cannot help feeling that way).
Anyways, just wanted to leave some feedback and thoughts after playing.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Yeah, the battles on this one were a bit rough, especially without the optional characters, but there are places where not having them is beneficial, so I think them having an easier time in some combat sections is a reasonable benefit to the "both" path. I will say that I tested all the combat both with and without (and the achieve is definitely possible without either--if you'd like a small hint, then Ligaea and Blood Oath Cynthia both have very hard-hitting skills, and can do quite big numbers with adequately stacked boosts).
DeleteThat said, I am considering and most likely will implement another party member for the Daybreak (Lorena only) and Full Moon (exile Alcinians) path, as I do think that it would overall be better to have something closer to character parity on different routes. And considering the existence of the New Moon (Eris deal) path, one can guess who one of those might be. XD

1. Who is fourth general of ekestria .
2. What is emerald clock ,i mean is they compareble to myromidons or royal army.
If they comparable to myromidons then it is ok and if they compareble to royal army then I think you represent them with royal army armour in green colour because it would align with your structure. Myromidons and calistre royal guard share same design as emerald clock so if they compareble to royal army then only green royal army armour represention would be better.

3.We already waited a long time for alexander's custom weapon and armour, now siegfried made completely clear that alexander needs upgrade both for his skills and equipment.
4.I have a request that you cover present castle town and castle kharos in inner walls . South and east west already have. In North also have a very thin wall if you can make it thin just like south have and same for west .
Then it would become inner walls because you also built a outer walls around outer districts.
5.Another request is -just like in antipater court you place two myromidons and two royal army soldiers, you can also place atleast honour guard if not royal army soldiers also.

2. They're closer to the Royal Army, though smaller (and a bit more elite). I believe they do use the same sprite and portrait as the royal army, though.
3. Definitely something that may come up in story ere much longer =P

Great update as always, not only because of the battles that for me were the best and most difficult so far but the story keeps getting better and better, I definitely wasn't expecting that twist at the end. It made me even more anxious for the war with Ekestria, and now that the problems in Redstone are solved and Lorelai has been rescued it shouldn't take too long, right? Ha ha anyway keep up the great work

While it might not set the new standard since it was an optional challenge, I do hope to at some point make a hard mode for the game in general for those of us who like the harder sections. No ETA on that, since it will require setting aside some time, but if you liked the combat this update, hopefully you'll find that enjoyable too when it does come.

I am exciting to see how her journey complete to meet alexander and maybe it is most important thing now that alexander go to meet sage of wind for guidance regarding siegfried matter , just like in avalonian invasion time former king go to consult the oracle of wind means Daphne.
5. I am also excited to see first glance and first part of new caste town.
Please 🥺 present it just like we see albion outskirts. I mean close to finish rather than hut House , build finished house .
More improvement like lights and gardening can remain for next update but please add footpath of black or white marbal if not yet than maybe sign something deal like in next visits and apply to later update.
For #1, probably a combination of (a) it -is- easy to be biased toward one's lover, (b) she is useful to have as a commoner advocate, and (c) Veronica was sort of hoping to mold her into a successor. That said, I have been thinking her and Sindarion's positions at court to be more clearly bodyguard-esque.
Delete#2. Hmm... Unsure what you mean for the Arkos side of that. The Royal Army column did arrive, though, we had a speech welcoming them. If you meant the lord who said he'd consult his father about supporting us, can probably expect some follow-up on that, though.
#3. Good thought. I hadn't been planning to do anything for this beyond the stats from the proposal, but I think it would be cool flavor to add a few people around Kharos from it. You can expect it next Kharos update.

2. I think a typing error occurred.

When Alexander return to arkos and in conference room they disscusing about Sartherion visit than Veronica told that " Royal army and arkos soldiers are on the way" .you can check i don't know exact word to word sentance but the meaning is it is.
The only thing I can find there is Veronica mentioning Sindarion will be back from Arkos, which obviously he was. If you have a screenshot of the line you mean, I can have a look, but I think you may be misremembering.

Ah, I was confused by the traveling part. She was talking about inviting soldiers already at the castle to the banquet. You're correct that there was a typo, though, should be Elysios and Redstone rather than Arkos. Thanks for the report, will get it fixed!

DeleteI also checked delphin pass battle again. I found two emrald clock soldiers caring shield and sword in sprite same as myromidons and honour guard.
While Royal army sprite does not use sword and shield.
Also in time of battle they also not caring any shield bladedancer holding two sword while blade warder one and covering his allies by only blade.
If Emarald clock is comparable to royal army then they only need royal army armour in green colour.
Why can't cynthia use enemy scorcery to impower herself like bradamente did with medea's sorcery.This way she will done more against siegfried or any other scorcerer.
ReplyDeleteIf king Antiochus can defeated by bradamente than siegfried also can by cynthia .because of his sorcery and later he won because he maybe only use his blade and as I guess siegfried only really his magic because I see only a book in his hand.
Cynthia mentioned a few chapters back that her armor was altered back in the age of Daphne when the other armor guy killed himself with Bradamante's armor. So hers can't do what Bradamanate's can.

Well, of the two, Cynthia's armor has actually been passed down by a specific family in an unbroken chain, and Bradamante went and found hers which had been lost. I'm much more inclined to think the person who knows their armor is Cynthia rather than Bradamante.

I want to ask you how many myromidons alive now expect ariston and demistrius.
ReplyDeleteI mean those three who fight alexander in demistrius estate are alive or dead.
Because I am not certain that alexander killed them or just knock out them.
If they dead that means 4 myromidons dead ( +1 by ariston hands ) and now they have 6 alive members.
Should be around 9 (since 10 was a rough estimate too). The three we fought at the estate were just KO'd (to make it less of an incident if we were caught), but Ariston did kill the one at the palace.

assuming remaining half are jealouts also and other half are like devoted as lorena .
So will lorena's order also have fighter comparable to grandmaster's in number without adding any reinforcement from avalonia.

ReplyDeleteI noticed you use many different portraits of soldiers for different nations and even different duchies and in some case different sprite also like honour guard , myromidons, royal army etc.But I also noticed saravi soldiers ( if am right to guess) in common bandit or mercenary sprite.
So I guess you currently don't have different sprite and portrait for saravi soldiers.
I am also a 3d and 2d designer so I think I can help you with portraits, if you would like .
