This fixes a rare potential crash related to Freeze effects as well as fixing some passability issues in Avalonia.
Edit #2: Updated to v0.14.1.2 to make a few fixes, notably:
- Fixed a crash in the sanctum after accepting Eris's deal
- Added a save point before deciding whether to accept Eris's offer
- Added a translucent text background to the post-duel textual scene
- Various other minor bugfixes and typos.

This corrects an issue with shop unique items and an issue where Story Mode would not be deactivated if used during a unique dungeon.

- Significant new section of the story.
- New partial Castle Kharos iteration.

- Five new achievements for those playing on Steam.
- New level up skills available for several party members!
- Three new loyalty skills (Ariadne 75, Ligaea 75, Somnus 50).

- New Ariadne art! Ariadne's outfit has been redone by Mimo! I'm very happy with the results of this. A patch to use the old outfit may be added in the menu at a later time.
- New bust art cut-ins for "ultimate" skills such as Wildfire and Power Shot!
- Door customization for the doors in the throne room at Castle Kharos have been added!
- Graphical rework of Avalonia! This includes redone mapping and a new Alcinian Sanctum in Avalonia. Several other early game maps have also been improved!
Balance Changes
- Adjusted the damage of Ariadne's Burning to scale less strongly with level.
- Adjusted Wildfire damage to be reduced slightly more by mdf.
- Lorena's Swift Slash now deals more damage and will have a guaranteed follow-up during Holy Avenger.
- Swift Slash becomes Chilling Slash under Radiance, which deals less damage but now has a higher Skill rate. Chilling Slash will be learned on the version transition, or on fighting one battle.
- Howling Slash's follow-up now hits the main target if facing a single enemy.
UI Improvements
- Expanded skill selection box and reworked party UI in battle. Character's expression changes from buffs or low HP should now more visible.
- Added icons and colored text to passive effects to improve readability.
- Sir Leonidas and the honor guard now have custom sprites if the proposal "Elite Honor Guard" was invested in and completed.
- Added a KOed sprite for Lorena, used during the first two meetings.
Bugfixes
- Corrected the description of Unrelenting to properly indicate that it restores 30 TP rather than 40 TP.
- Fixed a bug that caused enemies who attack multiple times a turn to do nothing when affected by Enthrall or Beguile.
- Added Theseus loyalty changes for the decision to kill/imprison Tychus. These are applied retroactively.
- Added a fallback to autosave to prevent the game from hanging on a failure to autosave correctly.
- Barrage or other instant skills no longer consume Ligaea's Confidence.
- Echo of Light and other instant skills no longer consume Calysia's Full Moon.
- Howling Slash's cooldown is now 3 rounds as per the description (was 4).
- Potions are no longer incorrectly classified as Key Items, no matter how much you hoard them. =P
- Various typo reports and fixes to old content (thanks to everyone who reported).

Hey, I just played chapter 12 and I'm about to start the new one and I just wanted to congratulate you for making the story better and more engaging with each chapter published. Personally I like all the branches but Alcinian/Somnus is my favorite. The interactions between Lorena/Somnus and Lorena/Calysia are excellent and it is gratifying to see all the characters available together in these adventures with all the vantages and disadvantages. Oh another thing, I saw on the game's wiki that there is a future Heitaroi to join the group, I admit that I'm quite curious about this character if it's someone already known or not And that's it, keep up the great work

Great content so far! I might've found a bug, though. During Somnus' quest in Tychus' dream, I enabled the Adventure(?) Mode option after failing the first fight a couple times. Afterwards, though, each fight still grants the same 'inevitability' buff/debuff to my party and enemies. I've verified that 'Adventure Mode' is off in the System menu. As of Cynthia's arena fights, difficulty seems easier than it should be.

DeleteAhh yeah, this is a bug. If you can upload your save somewhere (or come on the discord and attach it there), I can fix it. Need to get out a fix to correct that not being properly removed if you activated it during the Dreamscape.

DeleteI just want to say door customisation is amazing please add this feature to other doors also like in barracks and servent quarter . In other parts of castle have just wooden plank as a door.

DeleteHmm. yeah. Those do look more off than I thought, will consider adding at least a simple set there, or possibly just using the same one you picked in the throne for ease.
If Alexander have 13 army size of royal army then antipater have 3 or it is 2 considering those who join tychus are dead .

DeleteI want to ask if airship reduce time to travel so much compared to caravan, then why they not widely used in Versilia travelling for one duchy to another.
ReplyDeleteWhatever reason may have, Can now Alexander fix things. Building landing for small airship in Elysios and redstone, if not big enough like Kharos but atleast enough that one small airship can land and takeoff.Even If not for Elysios atleast build one for redstone because it reduce time for army deployment and provide employment to Antiochian. In peace time it can use by commercial purpose. Surely outside or inside of redstone castle have flat ground enough that one small airship can land.
Cost to benefit ratio is my thinking. Speed is good, but airships are significantly costlier to operate than other modes of transit.
DeleteI mean, a similar question in our world would be why we don't take planes everywhere, right? We don't even have the scarcity of wind sorcerers aspect to deal with and it's still often more efficient to ship things by ship, by rail, or by truck, despite being significantly slower. Even the military doesn't deploy soldiers by air all the time. Not to say it wouldn't be pretty beneficial to have a small personal airship, though. =P
I think you get it wrong I am not saying caravan replaced by airship. I am just saying that every duchy need his own airship landing if not big like Kharos but small enough that one single small airship can land.
Deleteif you talking about today's contest, every famos nation's state capital have there own airport if not international than National and not just state ev also have their own airstrip not big enough that passengers or cargo plane can land but big big enough that private jet can easily land and takeoff , these airstrip not uses widely or daily but if politician or rich people need to travel small district they prefer there private jet.
So just like every state's every district have a airstrip, can you not do same for every duchy.
Make a single or double airship landing spot so they can land, and if I am not mistaken these landing more like helipad surely every duchy have that small place near there capital that one or two airship can land.
