Edit #2: Updated to v0.17.1.2 for further fixes to improve controller support and make rebound directional keys work in dialog choices.
Edit: Updated to v0.17.1.1. This fixes a crash on trying to bind A or D, and should properly enable controller bindings. In addition, Alexander will now be able to properly equip his starting armor in his starting class.
Note: You may need to delete Controls.rvdata2 in the PatchData folder if you're still getting a crash on trying to bind A/D.

UI Improvements
- Added improved controller support and key rebinding options. Note, many prompts will still display default bindings for the time being. You can find this setting in the System menu.
- Added a new option in the system menu to show enemy elemental resistances by default.
- The game over screen now... exists. XD
Balance Changes
- Radiance (Lorena), Blade Flurry (Ariston), and Myrmidon's Guard (Ariston) can all be used from the menu.
- Sindarion's Shiv, Fan of Knives, and Throwing Dagger will now apply Fell Toxin prior to dealing their damage if applicable.
- Potions that grant a stat buff no longer grant a buff that interacts with Ligaea's Focus or Alexander's Prince's Command.
- Draught of Might now has high priority.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where Thermal Shock did not function correctly with Frozen.
- Fixed various typos and other minor issues.
- Various minor fixes that I honestly can't remember any of right now. I'm sure I did some though. :X






Great updates, think last time i played this game around one and a half or two years ago. Gameplay has become much smoother than i remembered, combat encounters are challenging and fun, even if a bit exhausting sometimes (yes Elysian Groves section, i am talking about you). Characters are fun to use, i think the only one i am not a fan of using is Cynthia, she's just a bit generic with all those sorcerers around her, even though she became much better once she got some new skill upgrades. My favourite is definitely Lorena as ice/freeze tank/spellblade.

1.Lorena and Somnus on Twilight branch is definitely my favourite friend/ship in the game right now, their interactions and dynamics are really good. Conversation in sanctum in previous chapter when Illyria asked Lorena if she and Somnus are lovers was my favourite in entire chapter, i was laughing for three minutes straight.
Can't wait to see what kind of theatrics Somnus will come up with for the Inquisition visit. His dreamwalking adventures were really cool aswell, epic battle against THE SUN and optional boss were fun. Sadly he most likely can't bring Lorena with him lol.
2.Princess Lorelai is such a freak. Girl enjoys playing the role of helpless captive princess a little bit too much lol. Nontheless she and Alexander definitely have great chemistry and i would even say she's as close as lady could get to Alexander's "ideal" as he said to Kaori at Castle Redstone, and as close as a character could get to a "love rival" to Ariadne. Seems like underestimating Anselm would definitely be a grave mistake, if a man will be able to even use his runaway daughter as a weapon.
3.Sir? Lady? Bradamante definitely the most intriguing one so far. I guess the armour she's wearing was altered by that other sect of Salistrinians who was trying to find ways to use their sorcery without sacrifice/harm to users, which Aunty Veronica was telling us about. Even though it seems a really low possibility, but i truly hope at some point she will join Alexander and become one of the Hetairoi at least at one of the paths. (Well... she did respect Alexander denouncing Ariston's actions and recruiting Kadmus... there might be some hope yet...)
4.I really love Medea and Ariston's gameplay/story parts, (another) sheltered princess learning about the world together with her honor driven companion, sprinkled with some awkward "highschooler romance" bits. They are simply adorable.
I guess if she's really Alexander's half sister then infamous luck of Line of Daphne will definitely make them meet each other right at the mountain temple where Sage of Wind resides lol.
Thank you for the game and the story, it surely improved from last time i played. My favourite bits should definitely be the management aspects and how our party members and characters interact with each other and their own gameplay/story sections, such as Somnus Dreamwalking, Sindarion shady dealings, Medea and Ariston adventures, i think those parts help a lot with making the world feel "alive" through expiriencing story through different perspectives.
PS. new Desponia art is simply magestic, the best girl deserves only the best.
PSPS. don't even know how can i bring myself to play other route except Twilight, because of not having Lorena or Somnus in story lol.

Re Somnus and Lorena: Glad you enjoy their dynamic XD I do definitely find it fun too. It's definitely one of the more unusual relationships among the hetairoi, hah. And also happy to hear you liked the Dreamwalking section. It was something very... different, for me, and I'm quite pleased with the results. Alas, it does seem unlikely. XD

Re: PPS: Haha, fair. I like to think the routes all have their own charms, but I've also tried to make a game where those who prefer only one will have a satisfying experience, and definitely nothing wrong with having a favorite!

hey, first time writing here, really loved the update XD( wont extend myself much bc english is not my first or second language) the first coment said most of it, i think a great idea to implement is the element affinities, sacred knowledge, magic knowledge, swordmanship/bowsmanship,etc. levels( i dunno if its possible in the engine) whereas they would gain more precise, stronger, tp/mp cost reduced it could even use it as a check in some branchs or giving insights to other characters on theirs skills transforming in more eficient or stronger versions of some kind

DeleteUnfortunately, I don't really think the kind of mechanic would be a great fit for an exp-limited context like Noblesse. It's hard to really implement it as something meaningful when you can't really choose to devote time to it. So I tend to feel that such things are mostly covered by general leveling in a context like this.
