Chapter 15: Gathering Shadows has been released to patrons!

This version is incredibly long. As such, Steam release will be coming in 5 weeks rather than four to give me adequate time to prepare and make further improvements that I hope to before public release.

- Added ultimate skill cutins for King Antiochus and Cassander in the introduction section!
- Nine new achievements for those playing on Steam! (Note: Per a patreon poll, route-specific achievements will now exist).

ReplyDeleteI have one concern about the honour guard though. Is the honour guard upgrade going to be useless if you didn't take it at the earliest point?
Hopefully the upgrade takes into account whether most of your honour guard is dead or not, with the event changing accordingly. It would also be nice if you could choose where to get reinforcements from, such as the duchies or royal army. Where the trade-off could be more experienced and powerful soldiers, or more loyal ones that require training up.
Lastly, is Alexander the type of ruler who would create a statue or memorial for his dead honour guard as a nice gesture? This ended up including both questions and suggestions, but I am curious as to your thoughts.

DeleteIt won't be. If they took heavy losses last chapter, there's a required deployment to replenish them before the upgrade will apply, but it will apply once that goes through. At the moment, that one doesn't have choices, but there likely will be something more like you say in the future for expanding them into a larger group.
Hmm. He is, I think, so that's a nice thought. I'll give some thought to implementing it. ^^
